Baptisms by Dad

Wow, How time flies, Tranfers are today and my companion  and I are staying together. Its been six weeks already that we have been together, wow went too fast. Sister D is an awesome missionary and it is a lot of fun training. The part I enjoy the most about training is doing 12 weeks again [training program for new missionaries I think], there is so much to learn.

The week has been Glorious, it ended with 3 baptisms that  took place saturday the 30th of September. I can't believe it is already October. But it was one of the best Baptism that I have ever attended. The Dad Tommie Got baptised and then confirmed and then ordained and then baptised his wife Rachel and then baptised their daughter Chiara. It was one of the happiest days on my mission. It's a blessing to see a family come closer to the Savior. We had to receive permission from our Mission President and our Stake president in order for that to happen [for the Dad to baptise his family the same day he was baptised]. The R Family are awesome, they are one of my favorite people in my area Santa Clara Heights.

It reminded me of my family how my dad baptised us. Also we are teaching an amazing couple named the S, his wife is a member but her husband is not and he is progressing towards baptism and we are so excited for them.

The mission life is the best, people come and go too fast for my liking. Three sisters left today and it was really sad. When you start getting to know people then they just leave. Another thing that happened was that someone feed us really spicy food this week and it made my companion sick so yesterday we had to stayed in for half of the day. It was really weird, I am use to moving around all the time and I was home. I read a lot of Doctrine and Covenants, cleaned , colored maps of our area and made some food. It feels really weird when you are  not moving around knocking doors and talking to people. But on the bright side, my companion got better and I became more  familiar with my area, turns out I know a lot of homes who are not interested.

Also I really loved Conference this week, I especially like Elder Rasband talks about being no coincidences in Life, Elder Perras whom I have met before and Elder Callister about the book of mormon, I love conference week. We are so blessed to listen to God's ordained Apostles. If you haven't watched the Saturday sections or talks I highly recommend it.

Today I have being  cleaning and buying groceries and trying to sleep, P-days are sleep days for me. Thanks for all your emails and prayers, sorry I will respond to it next P-day.

Love you all and hope you stay blessed, until next time - love Seour Asameyong
