First week in the Field!

Best of both worlds.

First week out in the field. Well my companion is Sister S she is from a small town called Burns Oregon.  She's very cute and kind, she is the best trainer I could possibly ask for. It has been great with lots of sunshine. The sun is too much for me it gets to like 100 and something degrees and I feel like I am in an oven. The area where I am proselyting is called Santa Clara Heights and it is beautiful and the houses looks like it is from the movies. We are in charge of the Whole stake so it is kind of hard to go to all the sacrament meetings and we also get to do the visitor center half of the day so we only get to knock on door for  a couple of hours. Well we get the best of both world in a sense that people come to us in the visitor center and we go look for people also. It has been hard so far but Heavenly Father has been providing for us.  I had to bear my testimony so many times and attend a lot of sacrament meeting and meeting a lot of bishops and stake presidents because it is utah there are a lot of chapels. So that was fun and exciting.

It is Utah.
Well all I want to really do every P.day [preparation day is when they do laundry, shop, site see; write letters, typically on Mondays] is sleep and sleep, until it is time to go and be productive. Today I had chipotle which was pretty good but cheaper than home. So far I have given two french tours at the Visitor center and  it is very fascinating how many french people come out here. It has been a busy week and we met our missionary standards [I think those are goals of people to talk to] so that is pretty awesome. I tried cactus Jelly, who knew cactus could have jelly, it was pretty sugary but it was jelly. They are a lot of palm trees and the St. George temple is beautiful  and I can't wait to go see the inside one of these days. I met a pretty interesting lady last night, she is from Utah but she had all these things plastered around her, and it was like the Book of Mormon, Pearl of Great Price. I also met this awesome man from Foukou Japan, where Emma served her mission. He is in his late 30's and he is walking across america and he said that is his dream and he landed in LA and walked all the way here to Utah  St. George and it took him only 3 weeks. We gave him a tour at the Visitor center and and he asked if he could become a Mormon. and we told him yes he could if he wanted to and he also thought he had to stay in Utah to become a mormon but we told him that are missionaries all over the world.  His final destination is New York and I wish I could do something as amazing as him. My mission president is President Smith and him and his wife are from California.

Also the Visitor center President and his wife are The Burgeons are from Ogden Utah but right before this mission they served in the visitor center in DC and they are the best.

I would like to conclude with John 3:5   Jesus answered, Verily, verily, say unto thee, Except man be aborn of bwater and of the cSpirithe cannot denter into the kingdom of God.

Well lately the question most people have asked us is that why do they need to be baptized and this scripture is perfect because it tells them why and most people believe that if you are saved there is no need to be baptised. I love how the scriptures can easily answer people questions and we just need to know what they say so we can help others understand. Well its been fun and there are a lot of little miracles that have happened and next time I might write some. I would like to leave by saying always remember to pray to God.  Alright I am about to go get my P-day nap , until next time Au Revoir!
