It keeps going !!



Hey Y'all okay so this week was the best! 
First we were blessed with the presence of the one and only Elder Ballard! He said some inspiring and amazing things. He was my mission presidents mission president so that was cool for him.  What I personally got out of him coming to our mission was the re-emphasizes of being an example of the believers. And just ask Heavenly Father! He pointed a lot to the Saviors promise of What ever ye shall ask the Father in my name it shall be given unto you. I really loved that so much! It helped to boost me a little bit more through out the week! We also had stake conference and they asked us to bare our testimonies of Christ for 5 minutes each and that was great! When I got to the stance and I looked there were more than 600 people and I said to myself this is great! I didn't prep a lot so I hope I don't freak out! Well the testimony was born and you know since we are in Utah everyone loved it ! Thank Heavens for that
and that's how you gain member trust. Our recent convert spoke so that was amazing also, she came from a a break off of an FLDS background and she has so much faith! She is the best!!! Well I feel like I don't talk a ton about my investigator, when I start writing it takes me a while so that is part of the reason why, also there is too many of them I feel bad picking favorites to write about so I just write awesome things that happen that week!!. To top everything off we had a baptism that night right after stake conference so that was the cherry on the top! It was my greenie's frist baptism!!!😀💪👌 The person who got baptized his name is Zac and he is super cool and he was solid from day one! He referred himself to learn more about the gospel! We also went through our area book and contacted some people and it was great we found people who the missionaries never contacted a year ago and they were all interested. I call that negligence, people salvation is at stake but that's okay maybe we were the missionaries who are meant to teach them. The mission is the
best! I know I have to make decision about school and life and honestly that stresses me out a little, so I was on the computer today figuring that out and it was hard and stressful but it is something I have to do! I know the book of Mormon is true and I know it changes lives, if we just share it !

Week 2 - Praying and be a good boy, be a good girl!

Every morning begins with a prayer, every lesson, meal, role play, in general everything begins and ends with a prayer here. I guess that is part of the reason why you can feel the spirit strongly here at the MTC. My roommates are all from around the world. There is Sister P from Ukraine, she is very stylish and likes working out with me at 6am. My companion Sister J is from the Marshall Islands, she is so funny and she is the most interesting person I have ever met. The other girl in the room is Sister Y and she's from Yap which is found next to Guam, which is next to Marshall Island which is next to Hawaii.  She is very sweet and she is always smiling. In my district we have a Sister called Sister K and she's from india she cracks me up and she always tells us jokes. What I love about the MTC so far is that you meet a lot of people from all over the world and everyone has one goal.  Which is invite others to come unto Christ by helping them receive the restore...

First week in the Field!

Best of both worlds.  First week out in the field. Well my companion is Sister S she is from a small town called Burns Oregon.  She's very cute and kind, she is the best trainer I could possibly ask for. It has been great with lots of sunshine. The sun is too much for me it gets to like 100 and something degrees and I feel like I am in an oven. The area where I am proselyting is called Santa Clara Heights and it is beautiful and the houses looks like it is from the movies. We are in charge of the Whole stake so it is kind of hard to go to all the sacrament meetings and we also get to do the visitor center half of the day so we only get to knock on door for  a couple of hours. Well we get the best of both world in a sense that people come to us in the visitor center and we go look for people also. It has been hard so far but Heavenly Father has been providing for us.  I had to bear my testimony so many times and attend a lot of sacrament meeting and meeting ...

Baptisms by Dad

Wow, How time flies, Tranfers are today and my companion  and I are staying together. Its been six weeks already that we have been together, wow went too fast. Sister D is an awesome missionary and it is a lot of fun training. The part I enjoy the most about training is doing 12 weeks again [ training program for new missionaries I think ], there is so much to learn. The week has been Glorious, it ended with 3 baptisms that  took place saturday the 30th of September. I can't believe it is already October. But it was one of the best Baptism that I have ever attended. The Dad Tommie Got baptised and then confirmed and then ordained and then baptised his wife Rachel and then baptised their daughter Chiara. It was one of the happiest days on my mission. It's a blessing to see a family come closer to the Savior.
