Two Weeks

March 5th:

This week I am going to try and keep it short and Sweet. So I wanted to start with a story about one of our investigators.

On a Tuesday my companion and I were about to leave for the day and start tracting so we decided that our daily goal for that day was to find a new investigator and put them on date for baptism. So after we set that goal we looked at each other and laughed a little but we said a prayer and although we laughed in our heart that was what we wanted to happen.

So went about knocking until 12 noon and literally no one answered and we were disappointed and to make it worst we were walking the whole time so we were pretty exhausted. So we went back to our apartment for lunch and as we were eating lunch we checked our phone and we had some miss calls and a voicemail and a text message from a lady. The lady said she wants us to teach her daughter and that she wants her daughter baptized on the 3rd of March. So I read the text message and we looked at each other and giggled a little and said what?? This is not real so we hurried and call the the lady
Back and it was all true. We were amazed, it was. Tender mercies from Heavenly Father. That morning although we set that goal and laughed a little about it we had faith that we could accomplish that for the day and after we did all that we could the lord helped us. The little girls name is B and she was baptized this weekend. It was great opportunity teaching her and her baptism was great!
I feel so blessed to be part of the Lord's work especially here in St.George Utah and I know us having faith that day,  played a huge role in us having that miracle. Well keep having faith and remember that if we don't we can't move mountains like Enoch. Our heavenly Father has given us so much and as we keep trusting in him and keep our faith constant he can help us. Remember to have faith! That's all heavenly Father  ask of us when we ask. :)

Love you all and the gospel is true! Find ways to incorporate it in everything you do.

March 12:

Well this week Felt like a half day in school. My companion is from France and before her mission she did not get her wisdom teeth out so  this week we went to the dentist and  4 of them were coming in and they decide it is best for her to do oral surgery. So that's how our P-day started at the end the dentist decided we should be back the following day!. What happened the following day was that we went to the dentist in the morning and My companion was knocked out, they put her to sleep and told me to wait for her in the waiting room. 40 minutes later she came out and she looked like this.🐹🐹, like a hamster. They explain to us the post surgery and when we got home, she didn't remember a thing. The doctor said that we should expect that from her. So I stayed home with her and made sure that she took her medication in time and provide her meals in forms of liquids. I felt like a registered nurse. To be Frank after a couple hours of staying home,  I was done with it. I almost read all of Preach my gospel, I went through our area book, our area binder, wrote down some names of people we should go see. Then I started pacing around our living room with weights that eight pounds. After a while I got tired so I resumed reading and then to my surprise I feel asleep, 40 minutes later I woke up and repeated the same things again. Until my companion woke up and we went to the visitor center and she couldn't stand too long, she  was advised that she should take it slow but she was bored of sleeping already but her cheeks still looked like chipmunk cheeks. We went home and she fell asleep and I resumed reading and then I just sat in the couch and stared and pondered for like almost an hour then I remembered I had to eat so I made myself some (Liner) which means lunch and dinner combined. We stayed home 3 days and I was going crazy so I tried to find some one that will take care of her the 2nd day no help. The 3rd day luckily for us another sister missionary got sick so We exchanged companion and my companion
stayed with the other sick one and it all worked out. The rest of the week went well! We were able to go tracting and yesterday every door we knocked on no one opened, even the lady whom we made a contact with before she went into her home. Well it was a great day because we could laugh about it and appreciate the successful days. This week as I read a lot from preach My gospel, I learned all the church leaders should own one and learn from it. To me personally it is scripture that can help us outside of being missionaries. I will like to invite all that have a calling in the church should pick one up and read it and I promise you will be able to fulfill your calling in happiness.

Love you all and keep being an example.
