Week 6 - 20 minute talk without reading notes!

I will like to start with this scripture in 1 Corinthians 2:4-5

And my speech and my preaching was not with enticing words of man’s wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power:
That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God.
Let us remember who we should put our trust in, because sometimes it is hard to remember.
Well this week flew by so quick and transfers are next week. Luckily for me I am staying with my companion, I love sister Sanders. We have a lot of fun knocking on door in 115 degrees weather. Honestly I feel like if we didn't have fun doing it, it will be very miserable. Well for the past 4 weeks it was really hard trying to find people to teach. We felt really stressed but we kept pushing forward. We learned to trust in the Lord and remember that at his own timing everything is going to be okay. It has been hard finding people to teach but this week, we are pretty excited for this week because we have people to go visit and possible they could be new investigators. Also this week was so fast I didn't even realize what day it was. I gave a French tour by myself and it was pretty cool. It is quite amazing how my French is coming back little by little.

What I will take away from this week is to remember to trust in the Lord. Everything will happen at his own timing. And everything is better at God's time. Remembering  to trust in the Lord and be patient, humble and everything will eventually work out but we as his children need to wait for his timing.

The area where I serve is called Santa Clara Heights and the people are amazing. They are so loving and caring for one another. I am going to stay there for probably another 2 months and I can't wait to see what the Lord has in store for me there. I love the area.

Mission life so far has its ups and down but it is a lot of fun as long as you make it fun. I am really hoping for this week to be awesome. We have a chance to watch fireworks at the visitor center, So I am also looking forward to that.

I don't remember if I wrote this last week but I gave a talk in a ward and it was pretty nerve racking at first, but I was surprised I gave a whole lesson without looking at a piece of paper. I just went up there and I said what I planned and it took about 20 minutes. I honestly did not think I could ever give a 20 minute talk without reading everything I wrote down. Everything came to memory as I was talking. It is amazing how Heavenly Father helps us when we need him the most because I definitely needed to remember him then.

I will like to share this, we are not humans beings having a spiritual experience but we are spiritual being having a human experience. Our body is not who we are
( from a faith Works video I watched.). We need to understand who we are and focus on that, we are sons and daughters of Heavenly father and we need to remember that. We knew Heavenly Father and we had to come to earth to learn and progress. We knew who we were and we need to try to always remember who we are and that will help us get through our life here on earth.
