Three Crazy Weeks

Image
A tous Bonjour ! So I know I haven't really written for 3 weeks now!. First and foremost Life has been super busy. Let's start with the First week I didn't write which was 3 weeks ago. We had a baptism of a 9 year old girl. Her name is B and her dad baptized her and it was super cool. Teaching her was a lot of fun and we had to simplify everything down so that she can understand the gospel. It was a good experience for me because teaching the gospel some time might be hard and simplifying it helps people to understand what type of teacher you are. Well the simply the better, no reason to make it complicated and confuse people. Well we met with her almost every single day and we were able to teach her everything so that she can be baptized within two weeks. Also it was the last week Sister G and I were together! 😂 My baby G grew up. It was a lot of fun training her and I remember our last p-day together we started it by watching the district video.  Week2  Alright...

Happy New Year!

Image
Happy New Year, first and  foremost, this year flew by too quickly and I can't believe it's a new year. Yay to 2018, it's a new beginning and it's time to at least make resolutions that we will strive to achieve or make them and forget about them. I can't even remember all the new year resolutions I made last year but I Remember that I wanted everything should go well so that I can head on my mission! Everything went super well and I left for my mission in May and now it's January 1st wow. It flew too quickly. On the bright side , I am happy with what I did in 2017, I made the savior, the center of my life and it made a huge difference on alot of things in my life. I love new beginnings and I will like to invite you all to think of the savior while your making your new year resolutions and the think about how you can include him in your daily life. I promise you that its going to be a great year. To new beginnings, it might be hard but when we set goals and p...

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas

Image
Wow I can't believe it is Christmas already, How fast the year flew.  This week was super nice. We went to a baptism of a lady my old companion and I started teaching. She has been investigating the church for quite a while now and she is finally baptized and confirmed as of yesterday. We started teaching her but we had to transfer her records to the elders because she lives out of our area but goes to church in our area, well we had to stop poaching so we gave her to the elders.   Her baptism was super nice, it was all the people that have been fellowshipping her for a while that attended. So almost everyone that attended played a role in her life. She is such a caring lady, she is from New York and lives now in St. George.  Another thing we did is go on exchanges, so I was on exchanges in the Young Single Adult wards, it was super fun talking to people my own age. I feel like they could easily relate to you and listen to you. We found 2 new investigator...

I love to see the temple

Image
At least twice a week my companion and I  get a chance to go serve in the Cedar City Temple Open, it has been a blessing. The cedar city temple is such a beautiful temple. I truly believe that the temple is a way that God shows his love for us. I have never been to a temple open house before so I WAS super excited when we got called to go serve up there. It has a special pioneer feeling to it and its beautiful. It had columbine flowers in the glass. The stained glass on the inside are from a presbyterian church in new york. If you haven't been to the temple lately , I will encourage you to go. Sorry everything I wrote got deleted, and I am pretty sad because it took we a really long time to write it here are the pictures of the temple, love you guys and please write me , I love hearing from you guys.

Week in Review

Image
This week flew by too quickly, being a missionary is some thing I am very grateful to be doing with my life right now. I have seen the gospel bless so many people's life in just  6 months that I have been out. We've been given so many tools and we can use it to spread the Lord's work. It says in Doctrine and Covenats 88:73 " Behold I will Hasten my work in its time" There have been so many changes lately on my mission that has helped me to really understand what that scripture means, especially with Facebook. We are able to teach people through it and share messages that can touch the heart of people.  This week, has been a little hard because almost everyone that we had appointments with cancel and so it started making me feel frustrated but on the bright side there were others who kept their appointments. I learned to be patient and to keep in mind that this is the Lord's work and at his timing everything will fall into place. Some time i...
